The Community House Senior Women’s Club, founded in 1993, is a club for all women over the age of 50. The purpose of the club is to provide fellowship, programs and activities for the membership. Click here to learn about how the Senior Women’s Club came to be.
The membership dues are $40 per year, payable by December 31 of the current year for the following year. There is an additional $10 late fee for those members mailing checks after December 31. The dues are prorated for members joining throughout the year. At the end of 2012 we had 362 members. See what SWC did last year.
The SWC meets at The Community House on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. During the month of October the OUR TOWN Art Show & Sale at TCH sometimes preempts us, and we meet only on the fourth Tuesday. We have a meeting on the second Tuesday during the months of November and December. The meetings begin promptly at 10:30AM with brief announcements, and the program for the day is introduced. A luncheon is served following the program.
Guests are always welcome (with the exception of the yearly Fashion Show). SWC members are encouraged to bring guests. After two meetings, it is suggested that a guest consider SWC membership. Click here for a membership application.

SWC offers participation in the following Interest Groups: Books, Bridge, Canasta, Golf, Mahjong, Movies, Pinochle, Scrabble, Singles, and Walking. Only SWC members may belong to these groups.
The Vision Newsletter is published four times a year in the months of March, June, September and December. The newsletter contains information about upcoming programs, current interest groups, special events, luncheon procedures and menus, new members and a message from the president plus other miscellaneous items.
